Concert at North School Park tonight

The Arlington Heights Community Concert Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. tonight at North School Park, 400 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. The theme is "A Love for All Time and the band's selections include music from "Miss Saigon," "Salute to Ol' Blue Eyes," and "Swing the Mood." Conducted by Adam La Spata. Get vehicle sticker by Monday

The last day to purchase Cook County vehicle stickers for 2008-2009 is June 30 at the Maine Township clerk's office, 1700 Ballard Road, Park Ridge. The office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. (847) 297-2510.

Democrats to host rally, blitz June 27

The Wheeling and Palatine Democratic organizations will host a morning rally supporting Congressional candidate Dan Seals and State Senate candidates Mark Walker and Peter Gutzmer at 9 a.m. June 27 at the Democratic Headquarters, 1310 W. Northwest Hwy., Arlington Heights. Coffee will be followed by a "precinct blitz" in the 10th Congressional District for each of the candidates. Special guest is Sen. Dan Kotowski.
