Thanks to Grayslake for market support
To the village of Grayslake trustees, Mayor Tim Perry, Village Managerˆ Mike Ellis, 3-D Design President Dan Dalziel and Friends of the Grayslake Farmers Market:
Quite simply put, thank you for all the support you have given to the Grayslake Farmers Market over the past years, but most importantly thank you for believing in us and supporting us as we worked to raise the money to renovate Centennial Park.
I am pleased to inform you that the project is officially complete! This project allowed us to sponsor and operate the first ever outdoor farmers market in Lake County (and we believe the entire state) during the winter months of 2007 and 2008. The market was well supported by the community and the vendors and we heard positive comments from all participants regarding the site renovations. We are looking forward to launching our second year at the site, with plans to operate every Saturday starting on Oct. 11 and operating through December 20.
It is also important to recognize Dan Dalziel and his team for providing us with a vision and than providing the leadership and technical expertise to deliver a beautiful site, within budget. No small task!
On behalf of the Grayslake Farmers Market board of directors and volunteers, we wanted to once again thank you for you support that made this project possible.
Pam Navarre,
President
Grayslake Farmers Market Board of Directors
