Presbyterian
Fox Valley Presbyterian Church invites children between the ages of 3 and fifth grade to Rainforest Adventure vacation Bible school from 9 to 11:30 a.m. June 23 through 27. The church is at 227 East Side Drive in Geneva.
Children will hear stories about Jesus, make crafts, sing and play games. Snacks will be served.

Covenant of Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church hosts its nature camp "Terrific Trees" from 9 a.m. to noon July 14 to 18 at Union Congregational Church of North Aurora, 405 W. State St.
The goal of the camp is to help children develop an awareness of God's creation through the observation and study of trees. Children ages 5 though 11 are welcome.
The cost is $10. Scholarships are available for those unable to pay.

Lutheran
Bethany Lutheran Church has Rainforest Adventure vacation Bible school will run from 8:30 a.m. to noon July 28 through Aug. 1. The church is at 8 S. Lincoln St. in Batavia.
Children ages 3 to fifth grade will participate in crafts, storytelling, music, science and games. Teaching will focus on God's world and stewardship of natural resources.

Congregational
Preschoolers through fifth-graders are invited to vacation Bible school from 9 to 11:30 a.m. July 14-17 at the Congregational United Church of Christ in St. Charles. The church is at Fox Mill Boulevard and LaFox Road (between routes 64 and 38).
A family meal and celebration is from 5 to 6:30 p.m. July 17. The week includes the Can-Do Club House Bible stories, crafts, games, music, snacks, mission projects and other activities.
Registration forms can be found online and at the church. The deadline to register is July 6.

Community Congregational Church, 100 E. Shannon St. (at Route 47) in Elburn, hosts vacation Bible school from 9 to 11:30 a.m. July 14 to 18.
The theme is "Friendship Trek: Jesus our Forever Friend."
The only cost is $2 for a t-shirt. A member of the congregation has donated the cost of registration.

Episcopal
Calvary Episcopal Church will hold vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 4 to 8 at the church, 222 S. Batavia Ave. (Route 31) in Batavia.
This year's theme is "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything, A Veggietales VBS." Children aged 3 through those entering fifth grade in the fall are invited.
In addition to the daily sessions, there will be a closing program for students, parents and friends at 7 p.m. Aug. 8.
VBS is open to the public, and admission is free. Advance registration is requested by July 25.

Calvary Baptist Church hosts Good News Games vacation Bible school from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 30 through July 3. The church is at Anderson Boulevard and Hamilton Street in Geneva.
Children 4 years old through sixth grade are invited to attend and there is no charge.
