Sparks too much for Sky

LOS ANGELES -- Lisa Leslie scored 21 points and DeLisha Milton-Jones had 15 to lead the Los Angeles Sparks to an 80-67 victory over the Chicago Sky on Wednesday night.

Candace Parker added 14 points, Sidney Spencer had 13, and Marie Ferdinand-Harris 11 for the Sparks (8-2), who have won four straight and six of seven.

Kia Perkins scored 18 points for the Sky (3-6), losers of five of seven. Candice Dupree added 14 points and 8 rebounds, and Armintie Price and Tye'sha Fluker scored 10 points each.

The Sparks used an 18-6 spree to end the first half with a 38-23 advantage. Leslie scored 6 points during the run, and the Sky made only 1 basket in the final 4:49 of the half.

Los Angeles, which led by as many as 23 points, outrebounded the Sky 41-24 and scored 21 points off 13 turnovers.
