Eat pizza, fight cancer

The California Pizza Kitchen is sponsoring a fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Arlington Heights. Learn about adoption at library

The Des Plaines Public Library will host a two-part series on international and domestic adoption. The first is a session on International Adoption by Judy Stigger, Director of International Adoption at The Cradle in Evanston at 7 p.m. June 18, at the library, 1501 Ellinwood St. Tobi Ehrenpreis, executive director of the Adoption Center For Family Building, and adoption attorney Shelley Ballard, will present an overview of the domestic adoption process at 7 p.m. June 25.
