Thanks to leaders in tree campaign

I wish to thank David and Melissa Creech for bringing the Ackerman Woods matter to everyone's attention, and for their tireless efforts in uniting all of us who care about the natural beauty so unique to Glen Ellyn, around this very crucial environmental cause.

I learned much about this town, listening to all of the speakers at the park district and village meetings give compelling arguments to save the "Trees of Ackerman Woods".

We should all be thankful to live amongst those citizens who pay attention to what is going on in their neighborhood and the village as a whole. Relationships were forged and support on future environmental issues will have an active grassroots organization in place.

Once again, I am reminded of how lucky I am to live in Glen Ellyn.

However, I will always be vigilant!
