IDOT says I-57 moving again
Officials say Interstate 57 is moving again after storms downed power lines over the weekend, forcing parts of the highway to close.
But Mike Claffey of the Illinois Department of Transportation says ComEd is still working in the area.
Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction from Stuenkel Road to Monee Manhattan Road.
Seven downed high-voltage power lines had closed portions of the interstate over the weekend.
About 4,300 Chicago-area customers are still without power as the result of the weekend's severe storms, ComEd spokesman Jeff Burdick said.
