Latest job fair was a township triumph

I would like to congratulate Hanover Township and the Youth & Family Services team for organizing our recent and most successful job fair.

With nearly 650 local residents and more than 40 businesses participating, this is a great example of how business and government can partner to the benefit of local residents. I am pleased to report that many employers are interviewing potential hires who attended the job fair as we speak.

As a local manufacturer, I have been advocating for opportunities where employers and government can come together to help close the skills gap that ails manufacturing, hospitality and nursing industries. This event has taken a major step toward connecting local residents who are seeking jobs with employers who need quality employees. I am proud to be a part of this success.

Once again, congratulations to the businesses, potential hires and Hanover Township and the Youth & Family Services team for making this event a great success.
