Pfleger isn't worst Catholic scandal

I'm not writing to defend Father Pfleger. His comments at Trinity Church were over the top and showed a lack of judgment.

However, I feel the pedophile priests and subsequent cover-ups by the bishops are more shameful and scandalous than any remarks made by Father Pfleger.

If the bishops had shown common decency and compassion to the victims and their families, there would be no need for "damage control" by the church.

I've attended Catholic grade school, high school and college . I'm in my 60s and have also been a practicing Catholic all of my life.
