Where is support from village board

I know that I have written a letter before, but I can't help but feel the need to write another on the subject of abuse.

Being a victim of abuse when I was very young, I know personally what a woman can go through. I have also seen the violence and rage in a man that it would take to beat on a woman. I was fortunate enough to overcome it with a lot of support.

What I am having a hard time with is the lack of support by members of the village board of Carpentersville for Jackie Humpfer and basically to all abused women, especially having two women, Judy Sigwalt and Kay Teeter, on the board and who could stand strong and take a stance for all abused women everywhere. Sometimes as hard as it is you just need to do the right thing and say "Sorry Paul, you can't help a village until you receive the help you need for yourself."
