Greenberg an ally to working families
For those of us who have the honor and privilege of living in Cook County, it comes as no surprise that the solutions we hear out of our elected officials both at the state level and the county level are always to raise taxes on working families.
It comes as no shock to me that Springfield is just as broken as Washington is today.
We keep sending politicians to Springfield and Washington who care more about themselves than about working families across this area and the country.
We need more problem solvers, not problem causers.
We need people who will look at a problem, have a constructive dialogue on the issue and render a solution that benefits us the taxpayers.
Unfortunately, we do not have many leaders who do that.
However, since September, I have had the honor of working on the congressional campaign of an individual who understands what needs to be done in Washington. A candidate who understands that working families in Cook County and elsewhere are hurting from being overtaxed.
That person is Republican Steve Greenberg. Greenberg understands people in the 8th District are not under taxed.
At a time when we are paying well over $4 a gallon for gas, we need somebody to go to Washington and stand up for working families.
After having spent a lot of time seeing Greenberg up close and interacting with voters, there is no doubt in my mind Greenberg is the right person for the job.
In a year that will be a difficult one for Republicans across the country, Steve brings to the table a resume that can resonate with voters.
He knows how the run a business and will go to Washington with the knowledge of how to run Washington.
