Man struck, killed by Metra train

An unidentified man is dead after being struck by a Metra train near Norwood Park during rush hour Tuesday, officials said. The Union Pacific Northwest trains scheduled to arrive at Harvard and Crystal Lake were delayed at the Clyborn stop because of the incident, which happened around 5:50 p.m., Metra officials said. Delays of up to 115 minutes were still present late Tuesday.
