Catch the speeders, make more money

Usually, when I read about the state legislature, the articles are about budget debates, and I know how the Illinois government can increase its revenue.

Usually, when I drive on I-94 and I-294, I see many signs which state, "Construction zone - Speed Limit 45 mph." Almost all of the vehicles that I see are being driven 55-60 mph, but I only see police officers give citations about once every two to three months. The highway patrol officers should be told to enforce the laws better. If they give citations to the majority of the law-breakers, the state revenue would increase greatly.
