Road rules refresher

The Dundee Township Park District Senior Center will host a Rules of the Road review course from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the senior center, 665 Barrington Ave., in Carpentersville. The course is free to anyone who wishes to attend. Visit cyberdriveillinois.com for more information.

Twp. Democrats to meet

Hanover Township Democrats & Independents invites the public to its next open meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. June 9 at Park Place, 550 S. Park Blvd., Streamwood. HanDI's guest will be state Rep. Fred Crespo, a Democrat from Hoffman Estates. Crespo will discuss his work in Springfield and take questions from the audience. In the event that the legislative session is extended and he's unable to attend, the meeting will be devoted to a discussion of the 2008 election season and other HanDI business.
