No risk in trying to stop abortions
I would agree with Ron Coppel's response (Fence Post, Sunday) about the many German teachers and others in World War II who informed on the Jewish people, Catholic priests, Mormons and gypsies, who were put to death.
These teachers were cowards but were at risk for not informing .
Pope Benedict tells how his teacher covered for him when he was a deserter from the German army (an event that changed History, no doubt).
Today, however we have no excuse when 4,000 abortions are done a day and all we have to do is vote for pro-life politicians or say something or do something to help woman who are on their way to the abortion mill.
