Carmel falls in OT in girls state soccer

Downers Grove South ended Carmel's girls soccer season with a 1-0 overtime win Friday in the Class AA state quarterfinals in Naperville.

Keri Kujawa scored the game winner for DGS and Kelli Kubal stopped six shots on goal for Carmel.

Downers Grove will move on to play the winner of the Homewood-Flossmoor vs. Belleville Althoff game.
