Bulls' Noah gets 2 traffic citations

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Chicago Bulls forward Joakim Noah got two traffic citations after his arrest in Florida for having marijuana and an open container of alcohol.

Police say Noah was arrested on Sunday for carrying an alcoholic beverage in public and a marijuana cigarette in his pocket.

University of Florida Police said Wednesday that Noah was later cited for driving with a suspended license and not wearing a seat belt.

The traffic offenses carry total fines of $206. The 23-year-old could face up to six months in jail and a $500 fine for the marijuana charge.

Noah led Florida to consecutive NCAA titles before being picked ninth by the Bulls in the NBA draft last year.
