Clinton falls short as a candidate

In response to Ray Weaver's comments (Saturday) regarding this country needs Hillary Clinton as president, I would like to point out she attempted to get health insurance legislation while her husband was the president and it never got off the ground and that was after she wasted over $1 million and just gave up.

One other comment he made was that our foreign policy depends on her. She is not liked by the Europeans and what few allies we have after Bush chased them away, she will deplete when she makes such a statement the she will "obliterate Iran."

Do you call that a peace making person? God help us.

William Schmocker of Des Plaines calls Obama a rookie (Saturday). Since when does our country have a criteria and a program for grooming a president?

This is not England where they groom the prince or princess to become the king or queen.

Obama has far more experience and knowledge on our government than Bush has in his little finger.

Obama is a Harvard Law School graduate with honors and he was a professor of constitutional law and if anyone know the Constitution and the laws, he sure does.

Apparently, Bush never heard of Constitutional laws because he ignores the laws and does whatever he wants and vetoes everything he doesn't like, making him out to be nothing but a dictator.

Mr. Schmocker shouldn't be fooled and think that Hillary is more seasoned for this position because she isn't. She is power hungry and McCain is too old and will just continue as a third term for Bush who has ruined this country.
