New crusader for tollway

The Illinois Toll Highway Authority is unveiling a new cartoon mascot -- a cross-eyed caped crusader.

Captain Tollway is a muscled cartoon character being debuted along with the agency's "Know Before You Go" campaign.

It's designed to remind drivers to get information on construction locations and congestion before hitting the road.

The state's providing Captain Tollway coloring books and crayons to children at tollway oases.

He joins other transportation mascots, such as Amtrak's ARTE the Engineer and the Indiana Toll Road's i-Zoom Girl.
