Dan Seals got my vote -- for Kirk!

I find the gasoline price stunt that Dan Seals pulled on many voters on Thursday a huge insult.

Gas prices being what they are, he offered to reimburse motorists the difference between the current price of gas and $1.85 per gallon for purchases of up to 10 gallons from noon to 1 p.m. I pulled up at 12:10 p.m. and was told the promo was sold out. Mr. Seals apparently decided to take back his initial offer and instead offered to give $10 of gas to the first 50 customers. Many voters left work to take advantage of the price, only to be turned away disgruntled. While I know this would have been a lot of money to reimburse motorist, he should have had the common sense to know what kind of turn out there would be, and whether his campaign fund could support it.

Mr. Seals certainly knows how to get votes, for Mark Kirk that is! I for one will not vote for Dan Seals. Thank you Mr. Seals for helping me make up my mind.
