Disappointed with park district decisio

I attended the Glen Ellyn Park District meeting last Tuesday. And I want to thank the park district commissioners. Thank you for reminding all of us of that our opinions and feelings really do not matter. Thank you for reminding us that our local government was not elected to represent the Glen Ellyn citizens, as we thought when we elected all of you.

Apparently protecting the plants, trees, wetlands and wildlife is not as important as adding another soccer field. I am immensely disappointed with your lack of responsibility to the citizens of Glen Ellyn. And I, for one, will remember this come election time next year. Unfortunately, it will be too late for Ackerman Park.
