HGTV's 'My First Place' coming to Chicago area

HGTV's series "My First Place" is looking for first-time home buyers in the Chicago area.

"My First Place" airs on Sunday nights and captures the drama of finding and financing a first home, ending with the couple, person or family taking possession of their new residence.

The new homeowners receive a surprise housewarming gift chosen just for them. Several episodes will be filmed in the Chicago area this spring and summer.

The show's producers are looking for high-energy, first-time home buyers who want to be featured on the show. Singles, couples and families are all invited to apply.

Applicants should be motivated to buy and not mind having a camera crew standing by to shoot all of the exciting (and not-so-exciting) steps along the way to finding and financing their first home.
