Law seminar geared toward building, association managers
The law offices of Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit and Reserve Advisors Inc. sponsor a free seminar, "How to Testify," for property managers, association board members, accountants, engineers, architects -- anyone who is called to give testimony.
The program will cover how to give a deposition, what to do when you receive a subpoena, how to handle cross-examination, what to say, what to do, and most importantly, what not to do.
The seminar is from 9 a.m. to noon June 6 at the Holiday Inn, 6161 W. Grand Ave. in Gurnee.
Continental breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. Reservations must be made by May 23.
