Phil Page deserves our gratitude

Over the last 21 years, Phil Page served Geneva as our only city administrator. Through his quiet leadership he helped Geneva grow from 10,000 to over 23,000 residents.

He had a significant role in not only helping to preserve our quality of life in the Fox Valley but played a major part in helping to improve it.

Phil Page provided Geneva with the necessary experience, interest and passion to make a difference at the local level of government during two decades of unprecedented growth and fiscal demands. His level of dedication, ethics, commitment to good communication and hard work are a reflection of what all outstanding public servants should possess and demonstrate.

By always investing the time and energy to gain an understanding of the complex issues, he left a lasting mark on our community.

He helped make Geneva government more relevant, less intimidating and more public friendly. His retirement at the end of last month marked the end of an era. As an appreciative resident, I am sure others will want to join with me in extending Phil our sincere gratitude and thanks for a job well done.
