7 potential R. Kelly jurors dismissed
Seven potential jurors in R&B singer R. Kelly's child pornography trial have been dismissed, leaving the total seated panel so far in the case at eight.
Jury selection's in its third day. Eight of the sixteen needed panel members already have been chosen.
In addition to the seven dismissals Wednesday morning, three other jurors were retained by the state but hadn't yet received the prosecution's approval.
Those three jurors include a white woman with a 16-year-old daughter and two white men. One of the men told the judge he didn't know much about Kelly, except that he was a musician.
The 41-year-old Kelly has pleaded not guilty. The Grammy-winning artist faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
