Last week: Sergio Garcia won The Players Championship, making a clutch par putt to force a playoff and hitting the island green 17th on the first extra hole to beat Paul Goydos. After Goydos hit into the water, Garcia hit his shot to 4 feet.
Notes: Greg Norman, the TPC Sugarloaf designer, is making his first start in the event since 2004. …The Colonial is next week in Fort Worth, Texas. Tiger Woods, coming off knee surgery, hopes to return the following week for the Memorial in Ohio.

Last week: Annika Sorenstam won the Michelob Ultra Open for her second straight victory, third of the year and 72nd career LPGA Tour win. The Swedish star shot 64-66-69-66 for a tournEY-record 19-under 265 total.
Notes: Ochoa and Sorenstam top the field. After winning in four straight starts and five times in her first six events of the year, Ochoa tied for fifth two weeks ago in Oklahoma in the SemGroup Championship and tied for 12th last week at Kingsmill.
