Flyers play politics with concession offerings
To commemorate the election year, concessions at Schaumburg Flyers games will be offering "Election Year Specials" inspired by some 2008 presidential candidates.
The culinary minds at Alexian Field have created three burgers and one fountain/draft drink special that will be available at every Flyers home game:
• ObamaBurger: no meat (veggie burger).
• HillaryBurger: piled higher and more expensive (includes tomato, lettuce, pickles).
• McCainBurger: plain, no change from last year.
Fountain/drinks: Order the Ralph Nader Style, which comes with the glass half empty.
The Schaumburg Flyers open their Northern League season on Thursday.
