Woman dead in Chicago alley
CHICAGO -- Chicago police are investigating the bludgeoning death of a woman on the city's southeast side.
Officers say they found the woman late Sunday night in an alley behind South Exchange Avenue near 88th Street.
The 38-year-old victim was found lying unresponsive with blunt-force trauma to the back of her head. Officers say she was fully clothed and no weapon was found at the scene. Her identity was not immediately released, but police say she did not live at the location where her body was found.
