What if politicians donated half pay?

We get so many letters each month to help support our troops. It's a sad thing, our men and women are sent to fight and die for America and get no hospital care or can't find jobs if and when they get back.

We know our overpaid senators and politicians do nothing but sit and count their paychecks and perks. Any of their kids in service?

Wouldn't it be great if those senators and politicians donated half their yearly salaries? What great shape our country would be in.

They wouldn't miss it, and would help the recession end.
