Ethanol or corn flakes, food or fuel
Could we all get our priorities straight?
It seems to me that food has been an essential element of the lives of humans dating back to Adam and Eve.
We don't have to have gasoline every day. (There have been times when it was rationed and we survived.)
Humans have become accustomed to many items which have petroleum in their manufacture (such as plastics, etc.), but we don't have to have them.
Plastics were just discovered in the last century and we have, unfortunately, begun to think we cannot exist without their use.
You would be amazed at the number of everyday items which have some form of plastics in them.
Food, however, is necessary for human growth and development.
If we are concerned about world hunger or just our own hunger, let's figure out a way to solve that problem before, or at least along with, the shortage of oil.
