Christ Community Church will support the unborn and those impacted by unplanned pregnancy at 1 p.m. Sunday on the annual Walk for Life. The Walk for Life will begin at 1 p.m. at Christ Community Church in at 37W100 Bolcum Road St. Charles.

The public is welcome and there is no charge for participating.

Those involved from the St. Charles Campus will gather to walk along the Randall Road bike path.

"Life is important to us because it is important to God," Larry Stratton, Director of Community Impact for Christ Community Church, said in a prepared statement. "We feel it is important to stand, or walk for that matter, for those who can't do so on their own. Psalm 41:1 says that it's a blessing to consider the helpless and that's what we aim to do for the Walk for Life."

This year marks the 3rd anniversary of the Walk for Life. In 2007, close to 350 people participated and the church raised nearly $30,000.
