• Roxanne D'Adamo of Barrington graduated with a bachelor's degree from Elmhurst College at the midyear commencement ceremony held Feb. 10.

• Sarah Jones of Palatine, a member of the women's swimming team at Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, received the Panther Scholar Athlete 2007 Award in March 2008 for a high grade-point-average. She is the daughter of Karen and Bob Jones.

• Gail Phelps of Palatine graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree from Elmhurst College at the midyear commencement ceremony held Feb. 10. To achieve cum laude honors, she had a GPA between 3.500 and 3.699.

• Erica S. Sierszulski of Inverness, a junior at Illinois Wesleyan University, Bloomington, was inducted April 13 into the Theta Pi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, an international nursing honor society.

• Augustana College in Rock Island announced the following students were named to the winter dean's list for earning a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
