No universal health care
It seems the people want national health care paid for by the government (taxes). Before you all go off and think how great this will be, consider this. For those in their 50s and older, we have Social Security and that will only last until 2020/2030 or whenever by various estimates. Some of you may not get it at all. They want to cut what they pay to those already getting Social Security and take away their food and necessities, or raise the tax on those who are working.
They gave Medicare to seniors, and next month they will cut what they pay the doctors and hospitals by 5 billion dollars. Doctors have already said they will limit the number of seniors that they will accept. You may not get a doctor to see you when you retire.
We have prescription drug care, and the benefits are cut and various drugs are removed each year. You may not get the prescriptions you need. And now you're going to get "universal health care."
When the government looks at your Jewel card purchases and sees what you're eating, and it will use that as a measure of what they will cover, don't expect much health care. Need I say more?
