Paxson also interviews Denver assistant
While the rest of the NBA world focused on the status of Phoenix coach Mike D'Antoni and ex-Dallas coach Avery Johnson, Bulls general manager John Paxson threw in a curveball and interviewed little-known Denver Nuggets assistant Mike Dunlap on Saturday in Colorado.
Dunlap has been an assistant to George Karl for two seasons. Prior to joining the Nuggets, he won two Division II titles at Metro State College in Denver.
Though he's an extreme longshot for the Bulls' job, some believe Dunlap has head-coaching potential and Paxson took the opportunity to get to know him better.
