Loyola Ramblers sign three-point shooter

Loyola wasn't one of Division I's better shooting teams from long range last season.

The Ramblers hope they've addressed that by signing 6-foot-2 guard Marcus Thomas, a junior-college transfer from Danville Area CC.

Thomas, an Indianapolis native, made 83 3-pointers in each of his two seasons at Danville. He earned second-team NJCAA Division II all-American honors this year while averaging 16.1 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.
