Reflecting the turmoil in the housing industry, the largest home builders have seen significant decreases in revenue and home sales between 2006 and 2007. Top-of-the-list builder D.R. Horton posted 37,717 sale closings and revenue of $9.57 billion, down from a 2006 high for the Fort Worth-based builder of 53,410 closings and $14.52 billion in revenue.
