BG should strive for better future

Buffalo Grove should vibrate family, open to honest dialogue respecting every viewpoint. If you chide your child, it's constructive criticism; not loving them less. Our formula for past success nurtures but let's also seek to thrive!

Where's Buffalo Grove's visible direction? Fifty years, still no motto or even village slogan!

Want to give BG a good birthday present, look to the future! The direction should be to make our society better for the next generation. Point being shouldn't be need for one voice or the "establishment" who always gives all.

We need to capture our astute student's participation. They have capability for laudable contributions, plus spunk, energy and ingenuity for success! Where's charity in formula? Strength is our diversity. There's uncertainty if we've approached clergy/congregations properly involved?

This community always gives with huge heart!

This world is fiercely competitive. The once all-powerful American dollar shrinking. Everywhere, housing foreclosures, vacant industrial and commercial buildings long idled, empty storefronts, property values declining, huge state budget shortfall, less consumer spending/saving. Is the glass half empty? Realistically, where's the revenue stream now? Higher taxes!

Where can the money come from? Soliciting finances for naming rights to baseball diamonds, soccer fields, playgrounds, even parks. A revenue stream happening all across America in school districts and park districts today.

Create promotional video on our Web site showcasing all our amenities. The virtual world is powerful tool. Foremost is opportunity to get our face in the world spotlight. The Guinness Book of World Records is a media magnet just to attempt any record.

Be careful what you wish for.
