Take the time to visit loved ones
This is a story about real people.
These people live in a nursing home and wait anxiously for their loved ones to visit them. Their faces are sad and they touch me in a special way.
Where are their children? Don't they realize they are lonesome for a familiar face to touch them with a hug and a kiss?
I know these people because they now live in a nursing home.
So does my husband. He is now being taken care of by strangers, as he is in hospice.
I am a person who understands. Then I ask myself, "Where are they?"
If God is good, we will live a decent, healthy life, but it's not always so. One day you may be walking in their shoes. Do go visit your loved ones, as they are waiting for you.
