Why didn't Goslin attend town hall?

I would like to know why Cook County Commissioner Gregg Goslin, who represents Palatine, was not at the town hall meeting held Wednesday at Harper College.

It was bad enough that the county president did not show, but I would think our representative on the county board would have been there.

I am not sure if the commissioner received a formal invitation, but that should not matter. Obviously, it was an important meeting for the taxpayers of Palatine.

It is interesting that Commissioner Tony Peraica, who does not represent Palatine, showed up for this function. That obviously shows he takes an interest in taxpayer's concerns.

Very disappointing, Commissioner Goslin.

As a registered Republican, I will very seriously have second thoughts if you run again.
