Laws already exist for gun buys, sales

As an employee of Cabala's in the firearms department, I do not understand where Rep. Mark Kirk and Mayor Rita Mullins got the information that employees of gun stores do not have to do gun checks. In our store we must have a background check and a valid Illinois gun card to sell guns, and to buy guns we must have an Illinois state background check, a waiting period and must fill out a federal 4473 form on each purchase. If other gun stores are not doing these steps, I suggest the Representative and Mayor should report all known gun stores to the AFT so they can investigate, and, if they are found to not be doing this procedure, prosecute them for breaking federal and state laws already on the books.
