Red Grange seats at Illinois on sale Monday

CHAMPAIGN - A limited number of "Red Zone" Horseshoe season tickets for the 2008 Illinois football season will be available at 9 a.m. Monday, according to the University of Illinois Athletic Ticket Office.

The "Red Zone" Horseshoe ticket price of $77 was set to honor Harold "Red" Grange, the former Wheaton High School star and legendary Illini running back who ranks among the greatest players in college football history.

Fans may purchase a maximum of four season tickets per account. Season ticket orders for all areas are available online at www.fightingillini.com, by calling 1-866-ILLINI-1 or by visiting the Athletic Ticket Office at the Assembly Hall.

The Illini open the 2008 home season with a contest vs. in-state foe Western Illinois on Sept. 6.

Season tickets: $225 for sideline; $77 for Horseshoe.

Single-game tickets: $45 for sideline; $25 for Horseshoe.

Premium game (Ohio State): $60 for sideline and $60 for Horseshoe.
