Health clinic says thank you
This is a letter of thanks and appreciation to a contractor who took $10,000 and along with his wife and daughter organized and led a $45,000 renovation project for Tri City Health Partnership's free medical clinic. It doesn't take a math scholar to realize that the numbers just mentioned don't add up. Daryl and Wendy Kemp of Blackberry Builders Inc., when hearing of the need for renovation at the only free clinic in Kane County, called on their many construction partners to pitch in and give back to the community by providing $35,000 in renovations, at no cost to the clinic.
A Naperville city worker, Fred Fillipo, provided the original state code information that got the ball rolling. A Riverboat grant was submitted by the clinic and $10,000 was generously granted. Andy Vitale and Jim Saxton paved the way with drawings, code analysis and consultation with city and state code officials. Daryl Kemp of Blackberry Builders stepped in to lead the project, working with his trade partners to supply labor and materials for the space. The following is a list of those we wish to thank for their generous contributions to the clinic's new staff washroom and office space:
Blackberry Builders, Bob Dorr Plumbing and Heating, Cavallo Painting and Decorating, Ferguson Enterprises, Floor Covering Associates, Illinois Energy Management Company, Intersection LLC, J.C. Licht, Kohler Company, Revolution Builders, The Home Depot, and Triad Construction Services Inc.
Not only are we grateful for the beautiful space that has been provided for us, we are honored by the spirit in which the services were given. This community is truly blessed to have such generous individuals who are willing to partner with one another to provide for those less fortunate. On behalf of Tri City Health Partnership's Board of Directors, staff and those we serve, thank you!
