Elk Grove High back to normal after threat

Classes resumed today but with an increased police presence after a threat was found written in a bathroom at Elk Grove High School on Wednesday.

The threatening message was found scrawled on a bathroom wall at around 3 p.m. on Wednesday. Elk Grove officials determined the threat was not credible but police did use canines to search the building on Wednesday. In addition, police were stationed at the school's entrances this morning.

Classes and activities will take place as scheduled today and Friday, according to school officials.
