Cougars shut out at home

The Dayton Dragons beat the Kane County Cougars 7-0 Sunday before 6,043 at Elfstrom Stadium, dropping the Cougars into a first-place tie with Clinton in the Midwest League's Western Division.

Scott Moore (1-1) took the loss.

Shane Keough went 2-for-3 for the Cougars, who had only 4 hits.
