Bush out of touch with the world

Unfortunately, I must agree with the assessment of Sigmar Gabriel, the German environmental minister, regarding President Bush's green house gas emissions plan that provides for curbing the growth of heat-trapping gases by the year 2525. The Presidential announcement was not only embarrassing to the U.S. but clearly seen as given by a man who is out of touch with the rest of the world.

The president would have been better off to not address the issue at all.
