Storms force airline cancellations in Chicag
Officials say strong thunderstorms have forced flight cancellations at Chicago's airports.
The National Weather Service issued severe thunderstorm watches for parts of Illinois on Friday evening as the storms moved through the state.
Officials with the Chicago Airport System say more than 30 flights were canceled at O'Hare International Airport with delays averaging 90 minutes for flights in and out of the airport.
Meanwhile, at Midway International Airport, flights were delayed between 30 and 60 minutes with a handful of cancellations.
