Groups help match volunteers with needs for Volunteer Week
National Volunteer Week will be observed this year Sunday through May 3, when volunteers of all ages and from all walks of life will be will be recognized by the agencies, churches, schools, and other not-for-profit organizations where they share their time, talents and treasures with those in need.
The Volunteer Center of Northwest Suburban Chicago along with the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program are located at 2121 S. Goebbert Road in Arlington Heights. TVC places prospective volunteers of all ages, including groups, corporations, and families, in challenging volunteer assignments.
