Where were CN critics on O'Hare?

Regarding the CN aquisition, the suburbs abutting the Elgin, Joliet & Eastern Railway should stop whining now.

I live in Elk Grove Village. I complained about the O'Hare Modernization Plan. I went to public hearings and all I kept hearing is "What did you expect? You live next to the airport?"

Well, EJ&E neighbors, "What did you expect? You live next to the railroad?"

The Canadian National Railroad should convert the EJ&E to a high-speed double-track rail line which could accommodate Metra commuter rail traffic.

Oh yeah, thanks for your help with the fight against O'Hare expansion.
