Coloring contest: The annual spring coloring contest, open to ages 1 to 13, runs through Wednesday. Visit the youth services department or call (847) 546-7060, prompt 5.

Night discussion: The evening book discussion group will meet at 7 p.m. today to discuss "Running with Scissors: a Memoir" by Augusten Burroughs in the lower level activity room. Books are available for special check-out at the circulation desk.

Summer registration: Summer registration begins May 17. Look for the library newsletter "Paige-Turner" some time the second week in May.

Citizenship support: Contact Elena Lara at (847) 546-7060, ext. 122 to learn about classes hosted by the library and other resources available to become a U.S. citizen.

Library cards: Library cards are free to residents of the Round Lake Area Library District ages 3 and up. Call the Circulation Department at (847) 546-7060 and ask how to obtain a library card.

Library display cases: Anyone interested in displaying at the library can call Elena Lara at (847) 546-7060, ext. 122.

Libraries on the Air: Several Lake County libraries are participating in a radio program on Lake County's WRLR 98.3 FM. The program is scheduled to be broadcast weekly from 11 to 11:30 a.m. on Mondays. Anyone interested can also check out the program on live Audio Stream via Windows Media Player by visiting www.wrlr.fm and clicking on the On-Air Audio Stream link.
