Debate focused on gotcha questions

I am deeply disappointed in the questions asked in the Democratic Party so-called presidential debate between Sen. Clinton and Sen. Obama on ABC.

My opinions of Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopoulos were jolted with the lack of substance in their queries. There was nothing about the many issues that impact the lives of U.S. citizens or that responsible voters need to consider in choosing a president.

The emphasis was primarily on gotcha questions that have been playing for days, weeks and in some cases months that will never be offered as constitutional amendments. That is, unless we have a movement to require that all citizens wear a flag pin at all times to prove their loyalty.

Since Sen. Clinton is never asked why she does not wear a flag pin, it must be a gender requirement. That could be our next hot "button" issue.
